The Story

Most solo nail artists end up running their bookings through Instagram DMs and a Google calendar. It works, until it doesn’t — you’re scrolling back to find what you agreed, you miss a message, and two people turn up at four. You’re spending more time chasing messages than doing nails.

Zarkili started as a custom app built for one nail artist with exactly that problem: a calendar she controls, a client list, and a simple way for clients to book themselves in. She’d capped out at around 70 clients — the admin was the limit, not the demand. Six months later she’s at 130.

Zarkili is that idea, rebuilt properly, for any solo artist working alone.

FAQ

Do my clients need to download an app?

No. They can book from any web browser at app.zarkili.com. The free app is there if they prefer it, and it’s the only way they’ll get push notifications — email works either way.

Do I need to use the web app, or can I run my salon from my phone?

Both. You’ll register your salon on the web at app.zarkili.com — that part is web only, along with anything to do with your subscription and billing. After that, everything else works on either: your calendar, bookings, clients, services, gallery, loyalty, messages and settings are all there on the web and in the app, and it’s the same salon either way.

How do clients find my salon?

They can search for you by name in the app, or you can send them a direct link, a QR code, or an invite code. You approve each new client before they can book — or turn on auto-approve if you’d rather not.

What happens if a client doesn’t show up?

Zarkili doesn’t take deposits or store cards.
Instead, every booking is a request you approve — you decide who gets into your calendar and when.
There are no automatic penalties or no-show tracking; you simply cancel the appointment and the slot frees up.

Can I import my existing client list?

Not in bulk yet. You can add clients one at a time, or share your link and let them join themselves.

Can I use Zarkili for something other than nails?

Yes. It’s built for solo nail artists because that’s where it started, but it works for anyone running appointments alone — lash techs, barbers, massage therapists, trainers, therapists.

Is there a contract?

No. EUR 10 or USD 10 a month — a launch price that rises to EUR 25 or USD 25 for new salons from 1 January 2027, though yours won’t change. Cancel any time from your billing portal. When you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you’ve already paid for. The first 30 days are free.

What happens to my bookings if I cancel?

Nothing is deleted. You keep access to your account, your bookings, your clients and your history — you just can’t take new bookings until you resubscribe. Your clients keep seeing their appointment history too.

Can I have more than one artist?

Not yet. Zarkili is built for one person working alone — that’s the whole point. Multi-artist support isn’t available today.
